Education is the cornerstone of progress and development in every nation. Our founder chairman, Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, envisioned this college as a model institution, considering education as the greatest equalizer leading to liberty.
The college marked a new chapter in the history of higher education in Maharashtra by addressing the educational needs of this cosmopolitan city’s growing population and specifically promoting higher education among SC, ST, and other backward communities. Hence, our primary attention and commitment are dedicated to the socially disadvantaged and underprivileged sections.
Education is our foremost mission, with innovation and pragmatism taking priority. All stakeholders must feel a sense of belonging and partnership with the college, regardless of class, caste, or gender. Our goal is to develop students who will embrace positive values and justice. Our efforts have consistently aimed at imparting quality education while fostering a desire for intellectual and research pursuits.

We are fully committed to the “learn and earn” motto with which the college was established. Our ongoing efforts are focused on developing students’ personalities through our curricular and co-curricular activities, including cultural programs, gymkhana activities, NSS, and NCC. These student activities have brought us accolades in the past, and I am confident they will continue to do so.
We face many challenges ahead. We must continuously upgrade our institution and introduce new value-added courses to meet the professional demands of changing times. This year, our college will witness a new chapter as we implement the National Education Policy (NEP) starting in June 2024. I am hopeful that our staff and students will rise to the challenges of the NEP and make the most of the opportunities it presents.
The Research Centres of the college and our Library’s vast resources must be utilized to their fullest potential to achieve our goals under the NEP. At Siddharth College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, we offer our students an intellectually stimulating and motivating environment aimed at inspiring them to develop to their fullest potential. Our highly motivated and research-oriented staff provides a multifaceted and supportive academic atmosphere. I firmly believe that, given the current scenario and in line with our glorious past, we will create a generation of students who realize their full potential and contribute fruitfully to nation-building. The life skills we instill in our students will help them face challenges positively.
I am confident that the ICT tools our students have utilized in the past during hybrid learning will further inspire them to overcome future adversities.
